For added thermal insulation on frozen ground, you can use a Big Agnes Closed-Cell Foam Pad in conjunction with the Rapide SL Insulated pad.

The pad is 3.5” thick and features larger outer chambers to keep you well-supported in the middle of the pad. Despite its lightweight design, the Regular size pad (20”x72”) weighs only 18 oz. and packs down to 4.5” x 8”.

The high-volume valves on the pad allow for quick inflation and deflation, and the included pumphouse high volume Inflation sack makes inflating the pad a breeze. Additionally, the pad comes with a protective storage sack, replacement valve seal, and 3M repair patches for added convenience.
